1964 - The Beatles made landfall in America when they touched down at JFK Airport in New York.

1976 - Paul Simon scored a No. 1 hit with “50 Ways to Leave Your Lover.”

1979 - Rod Stewart asked the world “Da Ya Think I’m Sexy?” to which the world replied “YES.” The classic song peaked at to No. 1 in 11 countries.

2001 - Bruce Springsteen and The E-Street Band were recorded during their final two performances at New York’s Madison Square Garden. The concert was edited down and aired on HBO, marking the first time The Boss & Co. appeared in concert on TV.
