Born in the Detroit, Michigan winter month of January, Greg knew he was destined to become a DJ when his mother caught him chewing on a 45 record of "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" (which was #1 when he was born!). Entering the world of mobile disc jockeying at the age of 20, he and his brother Curtis kept at it for 18 years. During that time, Greg wanted more, so he signed on as a karaoke host and also as a part time radio host for a new adult contemporary radio station in the college town of Ann Arbor. He joined 96.1 WSOX in 1998 after living in Michigan for all of his life.
Greg continues to read all the music books he can get and has worked in other music formats such as jazz, talk, top 40, and even urban!
In Greg's spare time, he enjoys karaoke, baseball cards and music. He loves the 1968 Detroit Tigers team and collects Disney's Goofy memorabilia!
He and his wife have three children and two birds together.
